Welcome to the Program in Elementary Education

The Elementary Education program at The University of Alabama emphasizes the contextual basis for learning, particularly within the ever-expanding global community that includes many diverse kinds of learners and educators. All programs focus, at least in part, on the constructivism nature of the teaching-learning process. All programs highlight the need to employ the nature of the content and the learners, regardless of cultural background and exceptionality.
