BIOGRAPHY
Elizabeth Wade began her employment with The University of Alabama in June of 2010 in the College of Arts & Sciences with the Department of Mathematics as an Office Associate II. She then transferred to the College of Education Dean’s Office in the Financial Affairs Office in June of 2012 to present as an Accounting Assistant III. Prior to coming to The University of Alabama, she had 19 years of experience in the legal field as a Legal Secretary/Paralegal with thirteen of those years living in Mobile, Alabama. Elizabeth and her family moved back to Tuscaloosa in July of 2005.
In her role as an Accounting Assistant III, she reconciles and maintain departmental budget spreadsheets, prepare, and process Electronic Personnel Action Forms, complete and process I-9 verifications for various departments, and provides support to the departmental staff regarding College of Education and University’s policies and procedures regarding financial processes.
On a personal note, Elizabeth is married with three children and has five grandchildren. She has one fur baby named Ladybug. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and binge-watching Netflix!
