BIOGRAPHY
Allison Lammi moved to Alabama from New Hampshire in 2022 when her son was accepted at the University of Alabama. Her son continues a family tradition as a third-generation UA student, with both his father and grandfather having attended the university, where they played baseball and football. His father even played for Bear Bryant in the early 1970s.
Allison grew up in Massachusetts and attended Suffolk University in Boston, where she studied Political Science. After college, she moved to Los Angeles and worked at The Impro Comedy Club in Hollywood for five years. Currently, she serves as the Curriculum & Instruction Administrative Assistant, the Doctoral Program Assistant, and recently took on the role of Secondary Program Assistant at UA. She was previously the Elementary Program Assistant. Before joining UA, Allison worked as an Administrative Assistant for a financial planner and has experience in real estate as both an Administrative Assistant and a Realtor. Additionally, she has an extensive background in the restaurant industry.
Allison’s two main hobbies are traveling and genealogy. She has traveled to England, France, Jamaica, Mexico, the Bahamas, and various places in the US. She is a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and is in the process of joining the Mayflower Society. Her genealogical research revealed that one of her ancestors was one of the original settlers of Tuscaloosa County in 1819, and another was a pirate who was hanged at Execution Dock in London.
