BIOGRAPHY
Julia Haun Covin is the physics specialist for the Alabama Science in Motion (ASIM) program, the 9-12 science component of Alabama Math, Science and Technology Initiative.Ā Julie has been in this role since January 2006.Ā She supports physics and high school physical science teachers in the nine counties in west central Alabama. She provides professional development in both content and pedagogy, maintains and schedules laboratory equipment loans, and provides side-by-side, in-class support to teachers.
