BIOGRAPHY
Parthasarathi Venkatram earned both his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Science in Hospitality Management from The University of Alabama. Before joining the Student Services and Certification team as an Academic Advisor I, he worked as a Graduate Assistant, where he supported faculty with course preparation, classroom activities, and student engagement. He was also a student-athlete with Alabama Adapted Athletics, competing in wheelchair basketball and track & field. Balancing academics and athletics taught him resilience, time management, teamwork, and perseverance. These experiences shaped who he is today and inspired him to pursue a career where he can support students as they work toward their own goals.
His journey at The University of Alabama has shown him how much a good support system can impact a student’s experience. As an Academic Advisor, he wants to be someone students feel comfortable talking to, whether they have questions, concerns, or just need guidance. His goal is to help students navigate their academic journey while encouraging them to reach their full potential.
