BIOGRAPHY
Kim West is a K-5 Math Specialist for AMSTI and a mentor to elementary school math coaches in the Region 4 area. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Stillman College and a master’s degree from the University of West Alabama. She taught at Brookwood Elementary School for 11 years where she received the Teacher of the Year Award. She also served as math lead teacher while teaching there.
Kim is married with three grown children and nine grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family and teaching her class at church.
