BIOGRAPHY
Jacky Chapman is an Administrative Assistant II with the College of Education, Student Services, and Teacher Certification. Employed by the College since March 2009, she primarily works with teaching majors, ensuring they meet all certification requirements and submitting their paperwork to the Alabama State Department of Education.
Jacky has been recognized with both the W. Ross Palmer Service to Students and Rickey Yanaura Crimson Spirit awards for her efforts in supporting students.
She moved to Northport/Tuscaloosa in 2008 when she married Wayne Chapman. Wayne also serves the College of Education as “grill master” for its annual Future Teacher events. Their daughter, Ada (deceased) and son-in-law Drew have two beautiful daughters, Maya and Abby. They also consider Emily, who has three beautiful children (Maddie, Kathryn, and Noah), and Justin, a graduate of the COE Kinesiology program, and his daughter Stella as part of their family.
