Scholastic Progress Standard, Academic Status, Warning and Suspension
Appeals of one-term or indefinite suspensions are reviewed by the Office of Student Services Academic Action Review Committee. Students placed on one-term suspension at the conclusion of the Fall 2025 term who wish to appeal must submit their appeal to the Review Committee by Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Students will be notified via email regarding advising procedures for each semester. Students are responsible for making an appointment with an advisor during the advising period of a semester (March and October). An advisor will work with the student in planning courses for the upcoming semester(s).

An advisor will release a student’s registration hold enabling the student to complete registration through myBama.
There are several ways to schedule an appointment. You may call 205-348-6073 to set up a time for a phone or in person appointment. All advising sessions will occur between the normal business hours of 8 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
