      BIOGRAPHY

      Kim West is a K-5 Math Specialist for AMSTI. She is a mentoring specialist for elementary math coaches in Tuscaloosa County, Tuscaloosa City, Greene County, and Lamar County. Mrs. West has been in this role since 2018. Prior to her current role, she spent 11 years as a general education teacher in the Tuscaloosa County School System where she was twice nominated for Teacher of the Year. Mrs. West received her bachelorā€™s degree in Education from Stillman College and her masterā€™s in Education from the University of West Alabama.
