BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Heewon Jang is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies. She specializes in quantitative research, focusing on various issues related to educational inequality, which include school segregation and school finance. Her research is published in journals such as AERA Open and American Sociological Review. Prior to the University of Alabama, she received her Ph.D. in Educational Policy from Stanford University. In her free time, Dr. Jang likes to climb, knit, and bake.
