Stacy Stone

BIOGRAPHY

Stacy Stone is a K-5 Math Specialist with AMSTI.  She has been in this role since 2024. Prior to her current role, she served as a Building Based Math Coach for three years. She taught 9 years in the Tuscaloosa community. She has created and presented professional sessions at the local, state, and national levels.  She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK). She achieved National Board Certification in 2017 and her Maintenance of Certification in 2021.  Mrs. Stone received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The University of Alabama.  She facilitates various learning opportunities AMSTI offers.  As a mentor, she supports K-5 math coaches in the UA-AMSTI region.
