BIOGRAPHY
We learn by doing, and we all make mistakes, which can be our greatest learning opportunities.
Rachel Hill served as a public educator in Tuscaloosa City Schoolsā elementary schools for over a decade before joining the team at AMSTI-UA. She served as a classroom teacher, district instructional coach, and building-based math coach in TCS. During this time, she became an AMSTI trainer and had many opportunities to participate in and facilitate professional development. During those first years of her career, she also served in the United States Air Force Reserve, where she worked in logistics. Presently, she is honored to serve as the AMSTI-UA Project Manager, as they partner with schools across West Alabama in STEM education.
