BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Robert Mayben is the Alabama Technology in Motion Specialist for The UA-UWA Inservice Center. He received his PhD in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from The University of Alabama in 2010. His dissertation focused on the impact of Instructional Geocaching and GPS activities on student achievement. Robert has been an ATiM instructional technology specialist since 2004, and he was an English, journalism, and computer applications teacher at Etowah High School before joining ATiM. His educational technology interests include drones in education, artificial intelligence, learning with LEGO, digital literacy, computer science education, robotics, instructional Geocaching, graphic design, innovative teaching strategies, effective professional development, and game-based learning.
