BIOGRAPHY
Jeremy Reid serves as the Clinical Instructor for the CrossingPoints Program at The University of Alabama. Prior to his faculty position in the Department of Special Education, Jeremy spent ten years in various professional roles at UA. Jeremy earned an undergraduate degree from Huntingdon College and a graduate degree from The University of Alabama, both in Communication Studies. He is ABD for a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and will finish in spring 2025. His research areas include mentorship, interpersonal communication, and student involvement. Additionally, he serves as a communication trainer for UA’s Department of Human Resources. In their spare time, he and his spouse, a secondary mathematics teacher, enjoy keeping up with their toddler, cooking, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, DIY home projects, and participating in religious and charitable activities.
