BIOGRAPHY
Alex is originally from Colorado and received two bachelorās degrees from the University of Northern Colorado, one in Athletic Training and the other in Sports and Exercise Science. She then completed her masterās degree in Health Services Administration at Regis University in Denver, CO. She has been a certified athletic trainer for almost 10 years, primarily working in collegiate sports. Currently, she serves as the Director of Sports Medicine for the Adapted Athletics Program and is an adjunct instructor in kinesiology.
Recently, she supported the USA Womenās Wheelchair Basketball Team as the medical representative for the Paris 2024 Paralympics, where the team earned a silver medal. She has also begun conducting more research into para-athletes to enhance understanding of best clinical practices. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and attending a variety of sporting events.
