BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Demitrius Barksdale is a three-time alumnus of The University of Alabama and has over 16 years of experience in education and holistic development. While his professional platform and advocacy has its foundation in community health and education and holistic student development, with a focus on the implementation of holistic health practices, his academic profile is foundational to psychology and sociology, and counselor education and higher education administration. While continually engaged in academic studies, Dr. Barksdale has served in various capacities within higher education.
