BIOGRAPHY
Marcia Black began her employment with The University of Alabama in December 1998 in the College of Engineering as an Office Assistant. In November 2005, she transferred to the College of Arts & Sciences as an Office Associate in the Department of Mathematics.Ā She then transferred to the College of Education Deanās Office in the Financial Affairs Office in February 2026 as an Accounting Assistant II.Ā
Some of her current duties for the College are reconciling and maintaining various department budgets, producing and verifying monthly reconciliation reports, and I-9 verifications.
On a personal note, Marcia and her husband, Ryan, have two daughters and a son-in-law. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, crafting and hunting.
