BIOGRAPHY

As Clinical Assistant Professor of Elementary Mathematics Education, Dr. Eric Partridge teaches courses for elementary teacher candidates at The University of Alabama. His teaching and approach to teacher education are greatly informed by his years as an elementary teacher.

Prior to joining UA, Partridge received a PhD in Learning, Teaching, & Curriculum with an emphasis in Mathematics Education from the University of Missouri. He completed his teacher training through the University of Washington’s Seattle Teacher Residency and taught for five years in the Seattle Public Schools. A native of Rochester, N.Y., Partridge is also an experienced professional development facilitator in elementary mathematics.
