Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Mission

We strive to create a welcoming, safe, supportive, caring, and inclusive teaching and learning environment, in which everyone feels the sense of belonging, valued and supported, with special support provided for students and faculty who need to ensure their equal opportunities and access to educational resources.  Our 2021-2022 measurable outcomes include, but are not limited to

  1. Increase visibility, awareness of the committee and the commitment by COE to DEI;
  2. Increase diversity and retention of students, faculty, staff; and
  3. Increase perceptions of belonging, inclusion, support.
