Students should review requirements in individual majors in advance in Area V before beginning general studies courses. Each major has specific requirements which are met through general studies courses.

Area 1: Composition

  • Requirements include at least 6 semester hours in written composition.

Area 2: Literature, Humanities, and Fine Arts
