Welcome to the Programs in Secondary Education

The programs in secondary education emphasize the contextual basis for learning, particularly within the ever-expanding global community that includes many diverse kinds of learners and educators. All programs focus, at least in part, on the constructivist nature of the teaching-learning process. All programs highlight the need to employ relevant, up-to-date instructional methodologies, strategies and technologies geared to the nature of the content and the learner, regardless of cultural background or exceptionality.
