Doctor of Philosophy

The mission of the programs in Instructional Leadership is to prepare educational practitioners, researchers, scholars, and reflective decision makers through teaching, research, and outreach in the areas of Instructional Leadership (with a focus on curriculum, professional development, and supervision), Instructional Technology (with a focus on learning and pedagogy) and Social and Cultural Studies (with a focus on issues of diversity and social justice). These programs strive to promote the values, knowledge, and skills needed to renew and improve education across the state, region, and nation.
