The higher education faculty are committed to creating a student-centered learning environment. Faculty share theoretical knowledge and practical expertise with students who participate in the intellectual exchange of ideas. In this way, students gain insight that will prepare them to apply theories and models to the real world.
Faculty are nationally and internationally known for their research. Together, the faculty have published in the leading scholarly journals in higher education including The Journal of Higher Education, Review of Higher Education, Research in Higher Education, Higher Education, Community College Journal of Research and Practice, and the Journal of College Student Development. Students participate in this cutting-edge research, regularly publishing and presenting at conferences with members of the faculty.
