Because the cohort is designed for students who have an existing knowledge of the field of higher education, prospective students should have working experience in institutions of higher education or in higher education related organizations. Cohorts will be selected to reflect the broad array of positions possible in the field of higher education, as diversity of experience will add depth and dimension to conversations in coursework. Because of this, students in the program will hold a variety of positions, such as (but not limited to) Division Head, Department Chair, Director of Student Services, Director of Institutional Research, Registrar, Dean of Enrollment Services, Dean of Students, Assistant Dean of Administration, Dean of Instruction, and Vice President of Advancement.
