Cost

The Executive Ed.D. is a total tuition package. This price includes tuition, fees, books, and all class materials. The tuition also covers lodging in the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, group meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and coffee breaks). In addition, students have access to all university facilities: Internet connectivity, state-of-the-art student recreation center, university libraries, and multi-media equipped group meeting rooms.

Executive EdD Tuition is based on seven semesters – payable in installments at the beginning of each semester and is calculated by the number of hours enrolled. Tuition is approved each July by the University of Alabama Trustees. Currently, students pay $6320 for nine hours in the summer of 2008. The cost of the program for the students in the 08-10 cohort is expected to run between $48,500 and $49,500. The program fee does not include personal travel expenses to and from Tuscaloosa.
