
Admission
The tentative deadline for applications for admission to the 2008-2010 Executive Ed.D. Cohort is February 15, 2008. Prospective students should take the following steps to make application to the Executive Ed.D. Cohort in Higher Education Administration.
1. Apply to the Graduate School
For information about applying to the Graduate School and to submit your Graduate School Admissions Application online, visit the Graduate School Online Application Center. When applying to the Graduate School, please insert "Cohort" in the specialty blank.
2. Apply to the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies
To apply to the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies, download and complete the Department Application Form.
3. Submit the Following Materials to the Program in Higher Education Administration
For the Executive Ed.D. Cohort, the following materials are required for consideration for admission:
--3 letters of recommendation
--A one-page statement of purpose for pursing the degree
--Vita or resume
--Test score (GRE, MAT, GMAT) may not be more than 5 years old
--A five-page writing sample describing a problem that faces higher
education today (nationally), analyzing salient points of the issue,
and evaluating potential solutions. The sample should demonstrate formal
writing and should include appropriate citations.

4. Interviews for the Executive Ed.D. Cohort
Interview offers will be extended to the most competitive applicants. These interviews are tentatively scheduled to begin around the week of March 12, 2008. The program leadership will contact interviewees for scheduling. Interviews will last approximately 30 minutes.
